Fulfullment - EU, Issues, missing packages, etc

Hi all, 

Hope you had a great Holiday - hopefully with your backpacks! - I know this might be a sore point for some of you :(  

And now for updated fulfillment news: 

EU: Gamesquest has received all the inventory last Friday and has informed us that they are prepping the shipments to start going out as soon as possible but with the New Year approaching it would probably be realistic to expect fulfillment to start next week but should not take them too long to get everything out with the prep-work already underway. We're really sorry about the EU delays and sincerely appreciate your patience. 

Asia, Africa, and other international fulfillment: We're fulfilling these directly from our own warehouse within the next week and are prepping all the labels and packaging materials and are fully staffed so we should have all these orders out within three days of when we get in the freight from the Shipbob warehouse just a few miles away from us. 

US - Missing, late deliveries and other issues: Oh shipping during the Holiday season is definitely an experience and apparently as hard as we tried to get as many shipments out to you to receive before the Holidays a bunch of deliveries have gone... missing? We're working on these non-stop and it seems there are a few things going on..

1 - Tracking says delivered but you never received it. Stolen? Delivered to neighbor by mistake? No clue, but in addition to those possibilities, for whatever reason sometimes during this season packages can be marked as delivered even when they aren't and after a few days it will magically show up. So please give it a few days and if it doesn't show up contact [email protected]

2 - Tracking shows label created but not picked up by the carrier or tracking shows movement initially but no movement recently... So we've been in touch with Shipbob and each carrier about this and apparently during this busy season items are often just not scanned in for whatever reason and we have to give it at least 15 days to see if it will show up before we can make a claim and ship out another package to you. Please contact [email protected] if you're experiencing this issue and we'll get you on our list to keep tabs on for the 15 day wait period and if by then you haven't received your shipment we can get another out to you. - Note** If you have already contacted us by Kickstarter messaging or by email then we already have you down so no need to repeat the process..but if you only mentioned it in a comment please send the email because we do not have you down for this issue. 

Issues with your received order: 

Remarkably about 4000 orders have already been by our backers and we've had less than half a dozen minor defect issues and about three people who received the wrong colored backpack (not including a couple who thought they ordered a different color than what they actually ordered :). Of course if you have any issues please contact us at [email protected] and we'll get it sorted out. 

We're thrilled about the amazing feedback we've been receiving for these and welcome all your pictures and posts for us to share on our social media!

and yet another fulfillment update!

Is it the weekend yet???

Not that it really matters much because it's not like we're gonna settle in for a 9 hour group tabletop event since we're so busy with fulfillment all weekend long!!

Anyway, I know what you're thinking.. didn't they just post an update and one right before that? Yes... yes we did. BUT as things are constantly changing due to too many reasons to even get into here let's be brief so we can get back to focusing on what we've been working on..

Updates:

US - East coast/West coast/Central/backwoods/motor homes/etc...

We've got you covered form one of our hubs... which one? Well that depends on about 38 different details at this point but we've now got fulfillment moving ahead full steam from both sides of the country and if one is running out of inventory of something then the other picks up the slack to ship it out. 

Why didn't we have equal inventory at both hubs? Well we didn't have all the surveys back before we had to decide how much of everything to ship to each hub about six - seven weeks ago (we STILL are waiting for over 500 surveys!!) so we had to make a calculated guestimate and of course these discrepancies can always be sorted out but in Holiday shipping time things are soo slooow.. We've been shipping overnight deliveries in bulk from one warehouse to another to accommodate these issues and it's all moving pretty smoothly. 

We have received about 650 messages and emails for tracking info and of course we can't take hours to look everyone's individual info up because that will slow down everything else so please hang in there and you can check your backerkit surveys..

Canada: Canada is plowing into these orders and doing really well. Hopefully you'll be getting tracking info from them as they are getting processed. 

EU: Well.... we've had some issues as you know and we've had to cancel all of your orders as the ship went back to Asia.. JK, JK!! It looks like our customs holdups have been resolved magically!

Anyway.. back to work and please excuse any delays in responding to comments or messages (our inbox is currently at 300+ new messages since yesterday!)
